Our History

Our grandfather always said that in America, if one worked hard, learned all they could about chosen field and treated others as they themselves wished to be treated they could succeed in their field. Our family entered the pest management business in 1967. Checkmate was founded originally in 1971 by Edward J. Sheehan, Jaime‘s father, with the beliefs instilled in him by his Father.

Keeping true to our Grandfather’s beliefs; we his grandchildren have revived the Checkmate name and continue the family tradition of hard work, dedication, honesty and integrity along with providing cutting edge services to our clients.
